Al Tamimi & Company has hired a tax partner in Dubai. Rachel Fox has joined from Clyde & Co, where she led the Middle East tax practice.
Her arrival will strengthen the firm’s capabilities as it focuses on expansion amid complex regulatory changes, according to a statement.
Fox brings over a decade of experience to the firm, which is the largest in the region. She worked in Clyde & Co’s Dubai office for just under two years, prior to which she worked at William Fry, a law firm in Ireland, for over 14 years.
In her new role, she will advise regional and international clients on tax issues, compliance, and disputes.
“We are delighted to welcome Rachel to the firm,” said the firm’s chairman, Essam Al Tamimi, in a statement. “Her appointment reflects our ongoing commitment to investing in top-tier talent that combines international experience with a strong understanding of the regional business and legal environment.”
“Rachel’s arrival comes at a pivotal time, as the tax landscape across the region continues to evolve,” added managing partner Jody Waugh. “Her expertise and client-focused approach will be instrumental in strengthening our tax capabilities and supporting our clients through complex regulatory changes.”
Established in 1989, Al Tamimi has grown to over 580 lawyers across 17 offices in ten countries.
