GUIDELINES

Law Middle East accepts contributions from industry experts, namely legal practitioners and academics.

We accept articles on topics related to law, with preference given to those with a news hook and which align with our core areas of focus. Our coverage includes practice areas: corporate, finance (including the law of Islamic finance), dispute resolution, and regulation, and sectors: employment, energy & infrastructure, ESG, private wealth, tax, and technology. Our coverage extends across the Middle East, with a particular focus on GCC countries.

We recommend that your article is around 600-800 words, though submissions just outside of these limits will be considered for publication.

We cannot accept articles that have been published, or are due to be published, elsewhere.

Your article will go through the editor, for the purposes of a light edit, and will be published in your by-line.

Please include online resources referred to in your article (either as hyperlinks, in brackets alongside the relevant text, or as footnotes).

Contributions are published under the ‘ANALYSIS’ section of our website—please review our published content to get a sense for our style.
