The inaugural Law Middle East Awards will launch in November 2025 at a prestigious venue in Dubai. Nominations are open now across 24 categories, celebrating industry-defining accomplishments by private practice and in-house teams over the past year.
This premier gathering for the region’s legal elite is set to be the most prestigious event on the Middle East legal calendar, honouring the best and brightest minds.
The categories, which align with the region’s economy as well as Law Middle East‘s core sector focus, will be judged by an independent panel of senior legal figures and industry experts, who will be announced soon.
The awards are divided into three groups: 16 categories for private practice, two for in-house teams, and five awards open to both private practice and in-house firms and individuals.

- Private equity team of the year
- Capital markets team of the year
- Finance team of the year
- Litigation team of the year
- Arbitration team of the year
- Construction team of the year
- Energy team of the year
- Employment team of the year
- Technology team of the year
- Tax team of the year
- Private wealth team of the year
- Regional law firm of the year
- International law firm of the year
- Breakthrough firm of the year
- Law firm leader of the year
Categories open to in-house:
- General counsel of the year
- In-house legal team of the year
Categories open to private practice and in-house:
- Rising star award
- Woman of the year
- CSR initiative of the year
- Pro bono initiative of the year
- Legal support service of the year
The lifetime achievement award is not open to nominations.

The nomination deadline is September 19, 2025. The shortlist will be revealed shortly afterwards.
