Matteo Grassani has been promoted to group general counsel of Zahid Group, a leading industrial conglomerate in Saudi Arabia.
Grassani assumes the role after serving as deputy general counsel since 2023 and brings with him extensive international business and legal expertise across diverse industries and jurisdictions.
He previously held leadership positions at multinational companies including Shell, BG Group, and Endesa.
Grassani, who is dual-qualified in Italy and England & Wales, has led legal teams in Asia, Europe, and the Americas, working with executives, advising on complex cross-border projects, developing people, and spearheading compliance and digital transformation initiatives.
Speaking to Law Middle East about his appointment, Grassani said: “I am honoured and humbled to take the helm of the Zahid Group legal team.
