UAE law firm partners with Dubai gold and jewellery non-profit to provide legal services

Horizons & Co. seeks to promote the 'Made in the UAE' mark.

Horizons & Co. has entered a partnership with a Dubai group for gold and jewellery designers with the aim of promoting the ‘Made in the UAE’ mark.

The firm will provide legal services to Dubai Business Group for Gold and Jewellery Designers, a non-profit organisation established under the initiative of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce last year.

As part of the partnership, the UAE law firm will oversee the group’s legal function advising on its legal matters, and providing regulatory guidance, according to a statement. It will also provide legal consultations on a voluntary basis, workshops and training for all of the group’s members.

The agreement, which was formalised this week, will ensure the group has ongoing legal support and protection, enhancing their development and supporting the growth of the jewellery industry, the statement said.

Ali Al Zarooni, founder and managing partner of Horizons & Co. said in a statement: “We are proud of our strategic partnership with the Dubai Business Group for Gold and Jewellery Designers and utilising our many years of expertise in supporting their mission to enhance the gold and jewellery industry in Dubai. The ‘Made in Dubai’ label will become synonymous with excellence in the world of jewellery making and design globally.”

Ali Al Ali, vice chairman of the Dubai Business Group for Gold and Jewellery Designers, added: “With Horizons & Co. as our strategic partner overseeing our legal affairs, we can now provide more robust support to our members through specialised legal training and reliable legal services. This collaboration empowers us to enhance the resources available to our designers, fostering growth and innovation in the industry.”

Last week it was reported that BSA Ahmad Bin Hezeem & Associates (BSA), a regional law firm in the Middle East, with offices in the UAE, Oman, and Saudi Arabia, had entered a partnership with Meydan Free Zone to provide legal services and drive business growth in the economic zone.
